turnip

the rain. it’s cold. my coat protects me from the wet. but does not keep me warm.
cold. i tighten the knot. around my neck. bringing the coat closer. tighter.
warmth. i hope to reach home soon. but at the same time i don’t.
walking in the rain is fun…
little fishy coat agrees!

waiting, waiting, waiting,
for my food to finally be done.
one eye watches the pot,
and another watches the sun.
the dial inches closer,
it’s almost time to feast!
but so engrossed in my novel,
i don’t feel hungry in the least…

I’ve heard of Inktober for quite some years, but I’ve never tried once. This year I decided to attend the challenge. It’s a great way to improve drawing skills.

I designed this Inktober character for the September SVS contest. Can you tell I’m quite into Victorian era apparels? It’s fun to draw.

What kind of home is suitable for Albert the groundhog who loves flying? A house with airplane wings of course! I added a swimming pool as a emergency exit for fun.

I illustrated a character design of a cute groundhog who dreams of flying.

I submitted this for a contest in June. It reached quarter finals.
