Wreaths That Give Them Insomnia Thinking Of You Every Night

Wreaths That Give Them Insomnia Thinking Of You Every Night

In bed last night:

I woke up a couple of times for no reason.

And it took me a while to get back to sleep.

Not too sure why. But I’m pretty certain it’s because I’m getting low in Magnesium.

My spray bottle is almost empty. So I’m not getting as much with each spray. Plus the Vitamin D supplementation recently which is using up my Magnesium reserves.

Time to top up!

But:

While I was laying in bed, I had a thought.

“How can I create a wreath that makes people stay up the whole night thinking about you while laying in bed?”

Well…

A couple years back…

There was this viral music video on YouTube.

It was called “Friday”. Sung in “auto-tune” by a girl called Rebecca Black. And most people thought the song was… horrible. But it went SO viral…

And social researchers wanted to know why.

They found that it’s because the song anchored itself to “Friday”.

So every time Friday came around, people would suddenly think about the song. And it’d go viral again.

Every week.

Like clockwork.

So instead of giving people wreaths to commemorate their birthdays… or weddings… or anniversaries… which only come around once a year…

… if you want people to think of you more…

… get them wreaths that “anchor” to stuff that happens weekly.

Or even daily.

Example:

If you have friend or family or client who’s obsessed with sewing (like me), get them a gift they’ll use embroidered with my Sewing Room wreath. And you can be sure they’ll think of you whenever they sit down to sew.

That might be daily.

Or weekly.

But it sure won’t be once a year.

Just an interesting thought.

But if you do have someone like that though, you can find that “anchor” right here:

Birth Month Flowers SVG + PNG Clipart Graphic Design

Birth Month Flowers SVG + PNG Clipart Graphic Design

A couple days back,

Hubby and I went to one of our favorite fine-dining places.

The reason why it’s one of our favorites?

Because there’s a grand piano on one side of the restaurant. And every night, there’s a lady who plays your favorite Ghibli and Disney music pieces while you eat.

But we didn’t see her that night.

We hadn’t been back to that restaurant for a while. Ever since the lockdown.

Because it’s all across the country.

And takes a while to get there.

“Did the lady pianist change her schedule? I don’t see her performing tonight.” I asked the head waitress.

“Oh. We haven’t had any live performances since the lockdown. She doesn’t come here any more.”

Aww…

… that’s so sad…

But shortly after the waitress left:

We suddenly heard the sound of… music!

And people singing:

“Haaappy Biiiirthday… to… youuuu! Haappppy Biiiirrrthday… to… youuuu! Happyyy….”

And the waitress came out with a stunning cake.

Oh. Wow.

Looks like it was someone’s birthday!

As the singing and cheering ended, our food arrived. And we started digging in. But suddenly:

Music started playing again.

More singing this time:

“Haaappy Biiiirthday… to… youuuu! Haappppy Biiiirrrthday… to… youuuu! Happyyy….”

Oh?

Another person celebrating their birthday today?

That’s interesting.

Another cake came out.

Just as stunning as the first one.

At any rate, looks like it wasn’t going to be TOO quiet tonight. It’s always interesting looking at people celebrating their birthdays though. And all the exquisite gifts that get passed around the table.

But as we finished licking up the food on our plates…

… a familiar tune came once again:

“Haaappy Biiiirthday… to… youuuu! Haappppy Biiiirrrthday… to… youuuu! Happyyy….”

This time with lots of out-of-tune kids singing.

And yet another stunning cake got carried out of the kitchen on a silver platter.

3 people celebrating their birthday tonight?

Is it just me, or are birthdays getting more and more common these days?

At any rate:

We came for the live piano. But we got a whole night of birthday singing instead.

LOL.

Know someone with a birthday coming up?

Or maybe even 3?

Or 5?

Most people love getting gifts with their birth month flowers engraved on them. You can check out my lovingly (and personally) hand-crafted Birth Month Flower set right here:

Bee & Thistle Wreath Border PNG Drawing Clipart with Transparent Background

Auto Draft

I was walking in the park with my hubby last night,
Trying to de-stress from deadlines so tight…

We felt a cool sea breeze calming us down,
Enjoying the chirping of crickets in town.

While walking we looked at the stars in the sky,
Light pollution was low there and clarity high.

I thought as I walked in all wonder and awe,
And those thoughts I do write now of all I then saw:

…

* Just some random thoughts from my walk last night at the park…

* There were thousands of stars in the sky. But there was one that shone brighter and stronger than all the others. Without twinkling a wink. Pretty sure that was a satellite!

* All that twinkles aren’t stars!

* Pretty sure people a hundred years ago never looked up at the sky and thought, “Is that a star or a satellite?”

* Walking at night… in the park with your hubby… with a sea breeze blowing on your face… is super relaxing!

* Notice the rhythm of the sea, the frogs, and the grass in the wind. Nature’s rhythm is relaxed and profound. Unlike the hurried and hectic schedule of machines and man.

* You feel a lot less sleepy after walking a lot.

* Let’s go out and travel again tomorrow!

* An artist’s greatest enemy is their furry self. One part of that enemy is burn out. Avoid it at all costs. Walking here more will probably help with that.

* “Wait… is that constellation a ‘question mark’? Did I discover a new constellation? It really looks like a question mark. Cool!”

* The Bee and Thistle wreath is REALLY hot this Mother’s Day. Can’t believe so many people gave their mothers such a “heart attack hill” experience growing up… tsk, tsk…

* You can get it here by the way, if you weren’t the best bunny growing up:

https://turnip.co/bee-and-thistle

* The thoughts of Aurelia have ended…

55 Ways To Engrave This May Birth Flower SVG When You’re Not Hit By Lightning

55 Ways To Engrave This May Birth Flower SVG When You’re Not Hit By Lightning

A prospective turnip-lover asks the following question:

…

“Hello im wondering if you have an idea on how your Lilly of the valley book drawing would look engraved”

…

My reply?

I have no idea.

I don’t think anyone does.

Because how it looks like when it’s done engraved depends on a 101 factors. Like how you engrave it. And what you engrave it with. And who bothers you when you’re engraving it. And whether you’re hit by acts of God while you’re engraving it (e.g. lightning!).

And so on, and so forth.

But I thought it’d be fun to share 55 ways turnip-lovers are engraving my artwork onto their projects.

Just to give some inspiration for stuff you can do this month.

  1. Woodworking engraving
  2. Stone engraving
  3. Scroll saw engraving
  4. Metal-work engraving
  5. Engraving on gold
  6. Engraving on jewelry
  7. Engraving on silver
  8. Engraving with FIRE (I think it’s called pyro-engraving)
  9. Engraving onto signboards
  10. Engraving on the side of your minivans
  11. Engraving onto cups
  12. Mug engraving
  13. Engraving on chopping boards
  14. Or cutting boards (I’m not sure there’s a difference)
  15. Engraving on your kitchen counter
  16. Engraving on… marble! (this always blows me away)
  17. Engraving on signs on your hotel lobby
  18. Engraving with a Sharpie on your living room wall
  19. Engraving with laser
  20. Engraving it on your shirt
  21. Engraving it on a tea towel
  22. Engraving it on… YOUR BODY (tattoos! I don’t recommend!)
  23. Engraving it on headstones
  24. And tombstones (not sure the difference)
  25. Engraving it on a tree outside your house
  26. Engraving it on your laptop cover
  27. Engraving it on pop-up cards
  28. Engraving it on your smartphone
  29. Carving it out on your brick wall
  30. Carving it on a sign outside your store
  31. Engraving it with electricity (similar to fire)
  32. Box engraving
  33. Shadow box engraving
  34. Engraving it on your musical instruments (be careful!)
  35. Engraving it on your cookies
  36. Engraving it onto rubber stamps!
  37. Use the rubber stamps to stamp out cookies! (yum!)
  38. Engraving into stationery
  39. Engraving onto tags
  40. Engraving it onto your dog’s tags
  41. Etching it into metal plates
  42. Etching it onto old antiques you got at the flea market
  43. Engraving it onto pottery
  44. Etching it (gently) on ceramics
  45. Engraving it onto satellites (my dream! people have actually done it!)
  46. Etching it onto glass
  47. Engraving it onto your car (remove your car logo!)
  48. Engraving it on centerpieces
  49. Engraving it onto dried leaves
  50. Carving it onto fruits like watermelon
  51. Carving it out in ice! (for weddings)
  52. Having it engraved onto your cutlery
  53. Engraving it with your name in the center
  54. Engraving it with quotes in the middle
  55. Engraving it with a monogram, or initials

Ok. So, some of those were just my imagination.

But just a few… 😛

But I just realized it’s May right now! How time flies when I’m looking down at the drawing board…

And if you’re looking for something for someone born in May (maybe you), or just someone who loves Lily of the Valleys, then this is probably something you’ll want to engrave with love and in fair weather:

Wild Flower Wreath PNG Clipart Border For Mother’s Day

May 6, 2023 by Aurelia Nobleia

Wild Flower Wreath PNG Clipart Border For Mother’s Day

I shocked myself silly this morning:

I was on my computer, getting some work done, and I suddenly saw that it was Saturday.

“Wait… isn’t Mother’s Day on Sunday? That’s tomorrow?”

And I freaked out for a moment before I realized that…

… it’s NEXT Sunday.

The reason I got confused?

I got an email yesterday, from this health researcher I’m following:

He used to have heart disease, kidney failure, and cancer. The doctors gave him months to live. Including his doctor brother, and his surgeon brother-in-law. And they all told him to accept his fate. That’s how life is, and all that jazz…

But he ignored them.

Did his own research. And figured out natural ways to keep pushing his “death date” back a little further, a little further, a little further…

… until he cured himself.

15 years later he’s still alive today.

But now, he’s looking for ways to push his “death date” all the way back to the 200s or 300s.

Anyway:

The email showed a photo of his mom. And talked about how he helped her overcome various health issues. And she lived to the ripe old age of 100. Before she passed away naturally of old age.

And it was a remembrance email for Mother’s Day.

And that sort of got me confused…

But just to clarify:

It’s next week!

Not this week. So don’t freak out!

And if you don’t have your gifts ready yet, it looks like this is what most people in my store are using to “pretty up” their gifts this Mother’s Day:

https://turnip.co/bloom-wildflower-wreath

And yes, I did draw it all by myself.

By hand… or paw…

And if you tell your mom the artwork was drawn by a bunny, she’ll love it… especially if she loves bunnies… 😉

Sincerely,
Aurelia “Calendarly Challenged” Nobleia

Succulent Wreath SVG + PNG Clipart Sublimation Graphic

Succulent Wreath SVG + PNG Sublimation Clipart Graphic

Just this morning, I was on YouTube, watching a video about the funniest names people give their pets.

For example:

This guy was talking about how his friend had a dog named, “Naked”. So every time he called him, they’d have some super weird conversations.

Like:

“What’re you up to, buddy?”

“I’m out walking Naked right now.”

“Huh? Don’t the neighbors complain?”

“Yeah. They tell me to get off their lawn!”

LOL.

Anyways:

In the comments section, there was this lady who grew up outside Bozeman Montana years back, and one day there was this guy in the streets calling out “Chaos, Chaos!”. But when 911 arrived, turned out it was his dog’s name, and he was just trying to get him to come back…

My…

… goodness…

I can just imagine how difficult your life would be if you had a dog named:

“Fire”.

Or maybe even “Thief”.

Or perhaps… “Murder”!

Fortunately, I’m sensible-enough-of-a-bunny to not name my dog anything weirder than…

… “Mango“.

LOL.

But, speaking of fires:

From time to time, I get people asking me about what’s HOT in my store.

And if that’s you, and you wanna know what’s on “fire” right now, and trending upwards, so you can create gifts and products that people are chaotically breaking down doors to buy, then you might want to take a look at my Succulent Wreath after you’re done walking your dog.

It’s definitely catching on fire right now:

February Birth Flower SVG + PNG Violet Wreath Clipart

February Birth Flower SVG + PNG Violet Wreath Clipart

My hubby tells the following story of one of the “crimes of his youth”:

When he was just a wee little kid…

… he was sitting in class one day, reading his “Collin’s Kid’s Dictionary” for fun during the break (yeah, he was always a “book bunny”)…

… and he stumbled upon an intriguing fact.

A fact that was mentioned in the side margins of the book:

“Almost all people get the spelling of the month February wrong! They spell it like this – “Febuary” – missing the extra ‘r’.”

An equally intriguing thought came to his mind.

So he went up to a classmate seated near him, and he posed the following challenge:

“If you can spell the month “February” correctly on the first try, I’ll give you a dollar!” he said with a smile, and a wink.

The little girl was stunned. For a moment.

But then she starts smiling, her eyes looked upwards as she tries to recall the correct spelling, and finally she slowly said:

“F-E-B…-…R-…U-ARY-!”

My hubby…

… was stunned!

For just a moment.

But then, he calmed and collected himself, put on a big bunny smile on his face, and said out loud with a laugh:

“Ha ha ha! You got it… WRONG!”

And he walked away, leaving the little girl confused and repeating the spelling in her mind over and over again, trying to figure out what she did wrong.

*sigh*

Not his finest moment.

But he has since repented.

Interesting fact though:

Did you know that The Violet flower is the birth month flower of Febuary? And that our clients and fans born in this hard-to-spell month have been loving our February Birth Month Flower Wreath?

I did my best to capture the symbolic meaning of this beautiful flower in my piece, namely – wisdom, humility, and love – while also including my ever popular “bee trail” design that I personally invented several years back.

So if you know someone born in Feburary, mark my words…

… it’s a lot easier to just give them something made with this than it is to spell the month out in writing:

https://turnip.co/violet-february-flower

Sincerely,
Aurelia “Not The Best Speller” Nobleia

P.S. We have other birth month flowers in our store, in case you were born in an easier-to-spell month.
