I saw a tweet last night from a popular news station:
“Man Suffers Heart Attack While Climbing
Popular Hiking Range!”
Turns out that…
… it was a hiking range I’ve been to before. Once.
Though I’ve never hiked it.
Or climbed the tens of thousands of steps from bottom to top.
I just took the cable car up the hill. To enjoy the scenery at the top. And there’s LOTS of food being sold at the summit too. Though it’s mostly overpriced, and extremely lacking in flavor. LOL.
Anyway:
It reminded me of a couple weeks back.
When I almost had a “heart attack” of my own at the amusement park.
I was riding the Pirate Ship.
You know…
That ride that swings. And swings. And swings in a circle. And eventually, you end up upside down? And by the time the ride’s over, you realize everything in your pockets is gone?
Yeah, that Pirate Ship.
For the typical “roller coaster addict”, it may not be much.
But I’m an artist.
Timid as a bunny princess can be.
I don’t typically ride these things. And I was closing my eyes SO hard, hoping it’d be over soon.
More:
Mother’s Day is almost here.
And one of the hottest wreaths in the store this Mother’s Day is my Bee & Thistle masterpiece. Featuring the signature “Turnip Bee Trail” I invented so many years ago.
The symbolic meaning of the thistle?
Strength.
Courage.
And Bravery!
All of which… I probably lack…
… in such massive quantities that almost all amusement park rides are off-limits to me right now… sadly.
But that’s probably not the case for your mom.
Want to show her how brave and courageous she was for raising a naughty, fridge-emptying, freeloading bunny like you? Yeah. I get it. No wonder this wreath is so popular right now…
LOL. Just kidding. Or am I?
But regardless, I think ALL moms are brave enough to deserve an honorary wreath of thistle…
And if that’s your mom, you can get on this hot ride here:
