For King Charles’ Coronation.
I thought I’d give my own take on it:
Look at me
You can clearly see
Who I really am
And you’ll always know me
Every day
Even as I draw my art
I still see
If I wear a mask
I can’t fool the world
They can still see my heart
Who is that bunny I see
Staring straight back at me?
When will my reflection show
Who I am outside?
I am now
In a world where I
Have to show my heart
And what I believe in
But somehow
I will blind the world
To what’s inside my heart
And be loved for my art
Who is that bunny I see
Staring straight back at me?
Why is my reflection
Someone I know so well?
Can I not pretend that I’m
Someone else for a little while?
When will my reflection show
Who I am outside?
